wheel need help

was wondering what is the widest tire you can put on a s14. with tokico shocks and eibach sport line springs. are 8 in the front and 9 in the back to big. will they rub on the suspension. thanks

That's going to be a tight fit with anything wider than a 215 tire. This is something you would want to have test fit at a shop where they have access to the car and the wheels. If you already have the wheels picked out you should be able to get the sizes that work from the company selling the wheels. It seems that if they are selling the wheels for a 240sx they should have test fit them with tires :confused: They should be your best source for tire size information if it's a wheel they are selling.

ugh. search, search, search. that questions been discussed many times before. it helps to give us the offset of the wheel, too...since that determines how close the wheel will be to the strut....

front is 35 and back is 37 offset

it will fit, barely, you may need a spacer. It definately wont clear coilovers.-chet
