So I just bought this 240 yesterday and was trying to figure out what the wheels on it were. (My first post on nico btw Dx)

I saw gold ones that are similar and are HRE 505's but were 5 lug. So im wondering perhaps the ones on my 240 are of a different brand or model.

Here is a pic or two.

As a toyota Fan i highly doubt they from a first gen corolla or Celica. seeing as the corolla came out in the 60's and Celica in 1970

Mmm yeah I don't think theyre stock corolla or celica wheels.

They seem more like aftermarket wheels but I cant find any lettering on it.

Post better pics up on vwvortex, they'll know.

I think I saw some for sale on there this last week.

Normally, they're silver in color and the edges are gold.

Maybe, ACT or Ronal?!?! maybe some old school OZ's??

I think SSR had a similar styled wheel (as they always do... lol), but I forgot the name.

Alrighty thanks everyone.

They are indeed HRE's formerly made by Hayashi Racing.

I found a symbol on the wheels when I pulled it out and examined again today. It matched with the HRE symbol that some other nico member posted.

looks like it says JW or something xD
