wheel hop-Torque dampener

so..I have been doing hard launches with my Z, anybody else experience wheel hop? I tought I got rid of this after I got rid of my Front wheel drive car..will an engine torque dampener help this. I really hate letting of the gas when I take off because of the wheel hop....anybody installed an engine torque dampener in their Z?

ive got it also on my 04 tune TC off slip the clutch almost to the point of burning it at 1k it will not hop no dumps on Z's lol to much torqure

Mike - The torque dampener will do nothing for wheel hop.

You need to look into a more appropriate suspension setup.... Tires can also play a role, as what you're experiencing used to be called "axle wrap-up".

thanks for the 411 -any suggestions on which struts will do the trick.
