265/35 for a 10.5" rim is actually a nice stretch!!Quis wrote:I don't think a 265 tires on a 10.5 wide rim is safe at all......the tire would need to be stretch to the extreme. I'm running 10" rim in the back on 285 tire, which is the correct size for a 10" wide rim on my M35x.
The true answer is: YES YOU CAN!! This car is a big sedan... One of the guys here is running an 06 with 275/30/20" all four corners... 20x10" +40 offset I believe...White-Rush wrote:shyt..... if those Honda boys, can slap 20x10.5 on all four corners of an Accord, I don't see how it wouldn't work on the M, even with 22's.
Not sure if you're referring to me but, I'm not running 10.5" up front... Running 20x9"+32 20x10.5"+42 rear... Rear pokes nice and suspension is still not complete but may go with coilovers or springs again... Tein S-tech this time or d2's again. I'm in a hole from the money spent on the d2's then the air, then getting rid of it.. All that labor cost me... Just sold the WORK WHEELS good so that helps but taking it slow for now!! Also my Hankook were awesome but going with a little stretch now rolling Nitto nt555 and really going to do alignment kit for sure this time!!!06M4.5 wrote:is your new set-up 10.5" front & rear? and if so what offset did you go for? still going for air?
Yes! Depends on your drop, tire must be stretched and offset high at about +40 +42 +45 a good stretch on 20" is 265/35/20" not extreme at all!! That's the size I ran in my rear Vossen CV1 20x10.5 +42 offset and they fit just perfect with just a simple eibach springs drop!! 22x10.5" fit the M37/56Bravoval wrote:So can you run 10.5 in the front without rubbing or running bad?
