I am looking to get some 17x8.5 wheels with +20 offset. I have a 1989 240sx with no drop yet. with 245/40 on the back and 225/40 or 235/40 up front be flush with my fenders or would the wheels stick out a little bit and make it difficult to lower the car later? thanks.

Get 225/45/17 all the way around. You dont need to stagger tires on the same sized rims.

Just for reference, Im running the same tires. However, my wheels are +25, not +20
