Would this fit well on a 1996 240sx 4 lug

4-108/100 and an offset of 38

Nope. You have a 4x114.3 bolt pattern. The offset would work quite likely, but that's moot.

nah its ok lol enkei has the RS-6 in 114.3 anyway but what is offset.. what does it effect and mean?

Offset is the distance from the wheel hub mounting surface to the center line of the wheel.

The combination of the wheel width and that offset will determine where the tire ends up in the wheel well. That will be critical when it comes to what tire size you can run without having rubbing issues.
