Any comments would be nice I need a reply soon :) The only thing Im conserned about is the tire rim combination and the wheel space like making turns and what not if it hits the inside of the wheel housing area.

Trust me, you don't want them tucked in that deep...I have +20 in the front and +27 in the rear...perfect.

Well this is what I gather. They are of course 18 inch rims sorry I gotta have my rice :P, but the width of the rim is 7.5 inches.

and the spoke or mating surface of the rim is 40 mm from the center of the rim so there would be 40mm of positive offset from the center of the rim. This would mean I would have 5.32 inches of inset from the inside of the lip to the mating surface. Which is roughly 135 mm from the inside lip to the mating surface.

From my understanding a positive offset is better than negative. So in speculative terms here I have basically about 5.32 inches from the hub mating surface up to the suspension.

Now the question is does anyone know if a 5.32 inch depth from the hub assembly to the strut assembly will fly? When I go to tires.com and dial in my car these rims come up so I would assuem they would fit.

It seems to me that I am adding maybe aroudn 2 inches of depth to my rim width inward to the strut assembly. Would this fit in the wheel well? Would it rub the fender? Would it rub the inside components housed in my well? Just some good questions to throw to you guys :)

THANKS BTW !

according to the offset calculator found on google:

assuming you have 15x6 +40 stock rims, going to a 18x7.5 +45 will leave you w/24mm LESS clearance on the inside14mm EXTENDED towards the outside...

I doubt this will clear even stock springs in the front, but I may be wrong, so check to see if youhave 2.4 cm of space on the inside.

pick up some spacers if you want to keep these rims...

HAHA I was jsut on there doing the calculations myself lol. What a coincidence. Well I figure if the car has 1 inch of wheel space I can add then it will fit.

The difference added on the offset is 24mm. Well the EXTENDED part I dont have to worry about unless its the fender rubbing the tire :) But if I keep stock suspension then I should be fine.

Ok the difference here as I said before would be 24 mm so that is roughly 0.9448819 inch or one inch. of added space to the inside of the strut assembly.

Correct me if im wrong btw :)

Oh also the 14 mm extended is the .5 of an inch so the 1 inch in and .5 out makes 1.5 on top of the 6 wich is 7.5 !! :) so I guess all I need to do is measure out 9 inches from the hub and in 5.32 or roughly 5.32

I dont think they would look to bad either they are actualy .5 inches farther outward from the stock rims. So I think they would look pretty darn goot :)

I just tested like a rough fitment of the ide of the rim. Apparently with a specific tire 215/35/18 the height would be the same as what I have stock with my steelies. i measured out a toothpick at 1 inch and measured the height of the rim from the center hub assembly at 9 inches. Then I fugred out where on the tire buldge to place it. I realized however from the buldge in the tire that the tire protruded farther than the steel lip. I figured about 1/4 of an inch protrusion. So then I cut .25 of an inch off and put it against the mid section of the tire or the apex of the buldge to see how the distance of the fitment would work. Apparently from what I can tell the space between the suspension and the rim or tire lip is going to be about 1/4 of an inch. So i will most likely have about .25 of an inch of free space between the lip and tire of the setup to the strut assembly.

I went to a couple of places that do the auto filter for rims and vehicle fitments. Apparently some other 18 inchers with 7.5 width and a +45 offset are also shown to be able to work with our cars as well. So I would assume that most likely this rim would fit it would be a tight fit but it would fit nontheless.

ANy comments or suggestions?

What are you paying for this wheels? What 1200 with tires? Save your money and get a rim which you can specify the offset. Trust me, 240's look WAY better with a +35 or lower offset. I know this because I just sold a set 18's I owned, and bought a great set of Work wheels. They make all the difference. 5Zigen has some cool rims in which you can specify the offset...check out your options before you buy.

I would assume that work wheels would eve cost more than these would right? These are Konig.

Whats the width of the +35 offset rims? It might practically be the same dimensions but jst a different placement on the offset.

Well...I bought my work wheels used, but they are about 500 a piece new. But you don't have get Work wheels... My point is that some other companys besides Konig, offer a range offsets. Case in point...5Zigen. The FN01R-C comes in a few offsets with different widths...Check them out...I have had Konigs...they are nice, but what you will find, is that after time the plastic coating dulls or fades, stains, or just plain peels off...I found this to be the case with my last set as well...Katanas...they looked nice for about a year, and then they went down hill...just an observation...Its your cash.

Well they are kinda nice looking the Konigs.

But I saw a pair of Enkeis that are straight fukin nice *** lookin. Any comments on Enkeis its practically the same cept the offset is better at 42 mm not much difference but a little more clearence is always better.

Do enkei's fade?

Beware when buying wheels..i bought some wheels.. and the lug pattern are 114x4, they fit on my lugs just fine, but they wont actually go all the way to the brake rotors.. theres about 3mm of space, to where it wont go in.. i want to say that the hub is too big to fit in the hole of the rims:(

I hope you realize at least on a +25 leaves at most a +40 applicable? hehe just wondering if you caught that.
