Wheel fitment?

The S14 I bought came with a set of wheels that I like. But I'm thinking about spacing them out to run a wider tire and have a more flush fitment. The tires are rather dry rotted and should be replaced.

Wheels are 17x7.5 +45 I have found some hub centric spacers in 25, 32, and 38mm. I am only 2in lower than stock and am thinking about running a 235x40 series tire.

I'm thinking start with a pair of 32mm and see how they fit? If they are too wide for the front they should be good for the rear right?

And the car has a kouki front end although it is a 95. I don't know if that is any different size wise than the zenki.
