got a few random unrelated questions:

1. can i fit +35 offset 18x8.5 front 9.5 rear rims on my 91 na?2. i want to get lowering springs, what should i be looking for? i would like to get stiffer springs then stock but im not sure that what the stock spring rates are, or if they make lowering springs stiffer than stock. are they all generally the same, like could i just get some ebay ones and not have to worry about **** or is it really important to find a good brand? how is tein?3. im going from my stock 16" wheels to 18's how far of a drop can i do without rubbing issues?4. does any one make a single exit titanium exhaust for the z32 if so seeing as the car is a true dual will i loose power if i converted to single exit?

I can only really answer one of your questions.

Yes the brand really matters when buying springs. Honestly, everything that Tein makes is high quality and Im sure if you bought their product you would be more than happy. They will most likely be stiffer than the stock springs but I can not give you a definite answer because I do not have them (or my 300 yet).

Yes there are single exit exhausts made for the 300zx. HKS makes a single exit exhaust for the z32 called the HKS Dragger. And you shouldnt lose any power by adding a single exit or they would not be making them. My only question would be... Why would you want a single exit?

The wheels will fit. Get quality springs, Tein is very good. I wouldn't got more than 1.5" lower though. Stick with dual exhaust

Be careful with the +35 offset, it really depends on the design of the wheel (spokes). I have Ruff Racings 278s with a +35 offset and it didn't clear the brakes calipers, so I'm using a 5mm spacer. I too was certain that the +35 wouldn't give me any clearance issues but to my surprise it did.

I have the staggerd 18X8.5 front and 18X9.5 in the rear and it didn't clear the caliper on the front or rear. The rear were very minimal but the front needed about 3 mm of clearance.

i heard with tien you wont feel a difference in the stiffness of your suspension with springs alone and you basically have to get coilovers to feel anything. a local acredited shop told me that tanabe lowering springs are the best for the money and they actually run cars on the track with just springs and get better response then dudes with coilovers. so im thinking i'll get the tanabe's, which will run me 2 bills. as far as the single exit goes, ive heard that the agency power titanium single exit for the 350z is one of the strongest exhausts made and it got extremely good performance reviews, better then the dual systems. now im not sure if the 350z is a true dual, but id think if it was and the single exit performs better than the duals on it, then itd work close to the same for the 300. plus the single exit titaniums sound sooooo much meaner then any dual system ive ever heard.

Offset is not what matters with caliper clearance. It's all in the design of the spokes. Anyways, with that aside, yes, +35 will work on most wheels, depending on spoke design. It'll clear suspension and fenders, but depending on spoke design, it might not clear calipers.

For lowering springs, Tanabe makes some nice ones. I ran them on my Z and they rode well and dropped a decent amount also.

With 18s, you can drop as low as you want as long as you keep a conservative offset, which IMO is weak. If you're fenders arent rolled, then you got weak fitment IMO, lol.

The only single exit titanium exhaust out there for the Z32 is the Escort racing one I believe. Not too sure if the Veilside Explosion is titanium also. Both of which are susper expensive. Not to mention the Veilside one is no longer made, so the only way to get one is to get it used, and even then, it's rare as ****, haha.

I doubt you'd lose a significant amount of power, if any. You'll lose a good amount of weight though. But single exhaust on a Z32 looks funny.

EDIT: Oh crap, you're local. I have a suspension set up for a Z32 for sale. KYB AGXes with Tanabe springs if you're interested. I'm selling them for 400 obo. Hit me up on AIM if you're interested. ArticDragon192 is the s/n.
