hey folks,

i have a 2010 rogue and i'm getting bored of the stock sl wheels.
i currently have a set of SSR Type-C RS wheels (18x9.5 +30 offset) that i would like to install.
has anyone tried fitting this wide of a wheel before.
as far as tires are concerned i'm thinking of running 245/50/r18 Yokohama avid s.4
please feel to make suggestions
thanks again for all your help.

Hi there, we have an existing wheel fitment thread, here is the link:

I haven't had a chance to check the thread and confirm that it will answer your question but it's a good start. Good luck.

I think you will be one of the first, although I have seen 22 inch wheels on Car Domain. Can you weigh the wheels with tires before you put them on? Also, tell us how it drives!

the wheels are about 19lbs and change almost 20lbs
which is about 4 pounds lighter then stock.
i only have a pair accesible at the moment
so i'm going to test fit them on the front and take some pictures at full lock and stuff
also the rims currently have on them 225/40/r18 which a little to stiff for the rogue.

I can already see the first issue... although it's largely cosmetic.

The Rogue has very long front spindles/axles that stick out past the hub surface by a good 2 inches. You will have issues getting the hubcaps on with that kind of wheel design. Many have tried already: Venom Rogue, Madox75, etc.

Wow, that is crazy light!! My 18 x 8 Enkei's are about 24 lbs. Mind you, one of your wheels is the cost of my entire set in the States.

I think they look great! You probably don't have to worry about the center caps as most wheels like yours don't use them. How can you go wrong with SSR? The real question is does the width and offset of the rim affect wheel geometry? Is it pushed out too much for your liking? What are your options? Sell them and buy a whole new set? Since they are on 225 tires now, maybe you should go for 235 series tires though.
