hows it going everyone, i recently lowered my car on some megan racing street series coilovers and now am looking to purchase a new set of wheels. i know what people say about xxr's but they are affordable, especially for a 22 year old with other things to pay for.

my choice is the XXR 527's probably in chromium black, would these clear my coilovers and cause any problems? is this a good set up for a car that i daily drive? i dont want to be too aggressive but at the same time i want it to look realllllll nice.. lol.

Front: 18x8.75 +20 tire: 225 (40 or 45) r18
Rear: 18x9.75 +20 tire: 245 (40 or 45) r18

thanks in advance, any information on this would be extremely helpful. i want to make sure i make the right purchase.

Can I recommend a better yet equally cheap setup, please?

XXR 535

18x10.25+20 with 255/35/18

If the front coilover clearance is tight, you can run a 7mm slip-on spacer. But what I'd really recommend since you're on Megan's are these 20mm bracket extensions. Shouldn't need more than a fender roll and maybe massage the inner fender with a big frikken hammer if it rubs from being too low...

Do it, man. Kill the game. You'll be the only S14 dude on the web with these wheels. Trust me, I've checked. Everyone else is following 2011 trends with the 527's just like sheep.

Look at that sexy 5 spoke concaveness... Look at cheap Nismo LMGT4s... :naughty:

18s are big man. If you don't have a body kit or your not slammed low, it'll look even bigger, just my opinion.

check this website out to give you an idea of possible sizes

http://rimtuck.com/search

just pop in the specs you want and do a search, you'll see people with similar sizes to give you an idea of fitment. Most people on there however tend to stretch tires.

He's already on Megan Street coilover (which go pretty low) and he's got an Kouki S14 (which has the widest OEM fenders of any US S-chassis)... Remember, many S14's came stock with 16's on 60 profile tires. 18's with 40 or 35 profile tires are pretty much standard sizing. If he were in an S13 asking these noob questions, I'd have definitely recommended he stick with 17's...

But yeah... Rimtuck.com & Zilvia are my wheel fitment bibles, for sure.
