I am looking to buy MRR HR3 wheels today. But since I have zero knowledge about wheels and offsets I would like to ask if the following will bolt on a 98 Q45?

It's listed to have 20x8.5 5x114.3 +35

Will it rub or not fit? Please let me know asap!

Thanks

even if they so call "fit", are you prepared for the decreased ride quality of such low profile tires and the dramatically increased chance of bent rims/blown tires from hitting pot holes, expansion joints and other common road conditions? Funny to watch many owners of cars with oversized wheels dart around everyday manhole covers and other road imperfections to avoid such consequences of their choices

I do think they will fit, I don't remember exactly what the offset was, I bought a set of M45 06' rims which were not the right offset. There is a site somewhere that will show you.

I can tell you tires/rims of that size do change the ride quality, but they also improve in a big way the handling performance of the car. I started off with 245/35 19" Bridgestone A050 Pole Positions on these high quality OEM rims. The 35 series was VERY small for a car of our size, they lasted about 8k over about at 4 years old I blew out a sidewall going over an expansion joint a few months ago. Replaced them with Michelin PS2 Pilot Sports in 40 series instead of 35 and also threw down for the XL load rating. Huge difference, perfect match between low profile and handling. So you can fix the ride with a new set of tires which is gonna happen anyways. Check he offset, if it is not correct, pass, spacers are too expensive for good ones and I'd avoid them if I had it to do over.
