I'll offer a little more conservative perspective compared to yoko (he absolutely knows what he's talking about though).
So you mean they'reF:17x8 +38R:17x9 +28??
If so, the fronts are too high for any S-chassis car, the rears aren't too bad. But from what I've seen on cars/read you'd want to run17x8 +15-ish17x9 +20-ish
I'd recommend you find some examples of the "amount of flush" you're looking for, so people know how far you want to push it.

this is what 16x8 0 offset looks like. you know if you add a 15mm spacer that would put it to 16x8 -15 offset as in Negative (same specs as the Precedeo Demon Camber Wheels).
infamous jdm rice Precedo demon camber
btw you should checkout the FAQ stickies. that should clear your confusion..

size is 18x11 +18 in the rear w/ 285; 18x10 +18 up front w/ 265
as you can see... the rears are pulled, the fronts are just rolled flat

If you want concaved, check out the 16x8 +10 Rota Grids.

I searched for threads with offset in the title in the wheels/tires subforum
