Thx Rex. I'd really love to go to 245/50's but that might be pushing it.Rex wrote:I'm running 245/45/18's on an 18x9 +35. You'd have ~13mm more clearance on both the inner and outter sides of the wheels/tires. I'm on Eibachs, not Cal's and rthe only thing I come close to feeling/hearing as far as a rub is the plastic inner liner.
In short, no worries.
I think with 245/50's and the CalCustom springs you would almost for sure have tire rub ont he inner liner.DrewQ45 wrote:Thx Rex. I'd really love to go to 245/50's but that might be pushing it.

Hi hi,
I believe the G50 (1994) Q45 has a stock 16x7.0 +40 offset wheel. That being the case, these wheels fit as they are 1.5" wider and +5mm offset deeper. If you are concerned about the offset being too high, I would run a +5mm spacer, which can easily be accomodated by the factory lugs to bring the offset back to stock. According to my sources at both SSR and Work wheels, 18x8.5 +45 is pretty optimal (front) for the JDM G50 cars - they are not 100% certain if the USDM cars are different but they should not be. The rears most guys go a bit wider, but for the cost savings of these wheels, I would just run them all the way around
Cheers,
You should be fine. A touch "sunken" in the front, but nothing to worry about.ponzy wrote:rex, can i ask you a question,
ill be running eibachs, will a 17 x 7.5 +41 for the front, and 17 x 8 +41 for the rear fit on 94 q without rubbing? I dont wanna use a spacer and dont wanna roll up the fender too. if it fits whick combo is better 225F/ 245R or 245F/255R for that size? Thanks a lot master.
