Wheel decision.

Sup sup....I just want to know people's opinion on these wheels...They're Motegi Racing RT5s 17x7 with a 4x100 bolt circle....my biggest problem along with the bolt pattern is the offset....they have +42. I wanted to get some wheels with an offset lower than +40 so it kinda bothers me. Anyway, I can get a good deal on them since they belong to a friend and he's ditching them for new ones. They're coming off of an s4 RX7. I can get them now so I can fit some Z calipers and ride one something other than the blackie stealies but I'll definately get other ones later, but should I just wait and get some proper wheels later. Any opinions?

you have a 240 right? first off thats not our bolt pattern so that wont work, second i dont know if 7in. width with a +42 would fit z brakes anyway, id say you have a problem...

You said he had these on his s4?... I thought the s4 had a 4/5x114.3 bolt pattern? Anyway, don't get them because they won't fit your car(if the bolt pattern is as you claim).

i dont know if 7in. width with a +42 would fit z brakes anyway, id say you have a problem...

The s4 has 4-pot calipers much like the z32. So it's possible that it could fit.. but I wouldn't count on it.

I think that the calipers were an option because he has one with the 4 pots(5 lug) and one with your standard caliper(4 lug) both are s4. Maybe ones a conversion though(?). I'm going to test fit them but I doubt I will buy them.

I doubt they'll clear z-brakes then..

If you can get them cheap enough, it might be worth getting and then reselling on ebay or something. It might bring in some extra money...
