Hey guys. I've currently been running the following configuration:

19x8 wheels with +30 offset wrapped in 245/40/19 tires

One of my wheels just cracked due to a major pothole and I'm thinking of buying 4 new wheels since my offset is a tad too aggressive.

I'm thinking of keeping everything the same size but go with a different offset to pull the wheel and tire into the well a little more.

Check my math but I believe a +45 offset should tuck my wheel in 15mm or .59" more than where my wheels are now.

I could simply replace the cracked wheel with the same +30 offset but I'm thinking now is a good time to go all out and get the extra tuck I want.

I know +45 is stock offset but my wheels and tires are not stock size.

May i suggest running a wider tire rather than getting higher offset?

With 19x8, to achieve "stock" offset, you need +50 or higher, to account for the .5in wider-than-stock wheel. With high offset like that you might end up rubbing on your suspension, or on the inner fender.

I would stick with something moderate like 19x8+25 to 18x9+35 and run fat tires like 255/40/19.

@Shift Pig --

I'm not looking to achieve a stock size/setup-- just making sure that my calculations are correct that my wheels would tuck in .59" which would allow me to clear the fender.

Would 19x8 wheels with +45 offset wrapped in 245/40/19 tires have any clearance issues with the suspension or inner fender? I have no problems with my current setup of 19x8 wheels with +30 offset wrapped in 245/40/19 tires with the exception that if I have weight/people in my back seat my rear tires will rub on the fender over bumps.

I want to eliminate that completely by switching to a +45 offset -- if that would clear everything on the inside.

Thoughts?
