Hey guys. The wheels i'm looking at now (Buddy Club P1 racing) come in 17" by 8" wide. The available offsets are +22, +32, +42. I was looking at putting 235/40/17 Yoko AVS( either ES100 or Sport) on the wheels. While the 8" wide wheels fit up front okay and which offset will be best so that I can clear coilovers and Z32 calipers in the future? Any comments on the wheels or tires are also welcomed :)Chris

I would go with the 32 because if you ever go coilovers in the future the 42 would definately be all over them and might even hit the stock setup. The outside edge of the tire might slightly stick out from the car but that is really the only choice you have of those 3 offsets.

Or 22. Kinda low for 8" though...tough call. If worst comes to worst, you can get spaces for the 32 if there is a clearance issue (shouldn't be though).

If you wouldn't mind telling me, where are you purchasing these wheels from? I've been looking for somebody that can get these at a good price. Thanks.

Yeah, I've heard a bad story about ordering from Takakaira before. I have a friend that ran a shop and was duped for quit a bit of cash by them. They only take money transfers IIRC, so you can't just stop payment or anything. They've survived for quite some time now though, so maybe it was his fault or some other kind of mistake. He wasn't like a close friend of mine or anything so I really don't know. Maybe he was just talking $hit. I'd order from them.

I don't know anyone else that's ever actually ordered from them though so let us know how things turn out!:)

I want to find a place that I can get them from In Edmonton. Ordering from Japan is my last resort. Does anyone one know if the tires will rub at the front? Any more suggestions on offsets?

This is kinda related so I guess I will post it here. I was going to go with the same wheel up front, so thanks for answering my questions. In the rear, I wanted to go with a 17x9. The only offsets the offer are +27 and +37. If I'm trying to clear coilovers, would the +37 be better? Also, will the 17x8 up front and the 17x9 in the rear fit under the fender or will I have to roll it? Would it stick out so far I would need fender flares? This is for a s13 by the way.

Thanks, Johann

Found them for you. Call up these guys:http://www.fizzautosports.com/

I've ordered from them before...they are cool.

I got a price quote for those wheels in 16x7.5" front and 16x8.5" rear and it was $1150 for the set. 17's will obviously be more, but you'll have to call and find out how much for yourself!
