wheel cleaning

i was wondering if any one ever used wheel wax on there wheels to help stop break dust from building up?

or if any one knows of any ways to keep it form building up so bad cause my sister audi a4 the front wheels almost turn black from break dust and thats after about 2 wheels after cleaning them.

never heard of it...

but... get ceramic pads, they have less dust than your average pads, lol.

As far as cleaning.. heres what I do:-steam it (I got a steam cleaner from wal-mart that was on clearance) it works great to get all that dirt off...- then with some wadding chrome polish (the kind that like greasy cloth)... use that to polish if theres chrome. * It also removes discoloration on powder coated wheels (something a lot of people dont know) and brings it back to color...

On my S10 I used to wax the wheels with regular car wax. I could hose about 90% of the dust off, and then a soapy sponge or brush for the rest (nooks and such). Made clean-up real easy...but doesn't stop it from getting on them.

this is a picture of the stuff i was talking about...



thats how its soposto to work but i was wondering if anyone ever used it so i can get there input on the stuff.
