07 M45 Sport (17k miles); body has been washed and waxed religiously since i bought it...

but all four wheels have rusting calipers (rotors are fine)... it looks terrible!!!

anyone else having the problem? $50k car one would have expected stainless steel or some other alloy to stop the problem.. do Lexus' look like this?

come on Infiniti get with the program...

Simple solution, clean the calipers with an wire brush to get off the rust off and then paint with your color of choice. Unless painted or powdercoated all calipers will rust essentially. Some manufacturers do it from the factory, most don't. This should take you maybe a couple of hours if it's your first time and cost less than $20.

Hello,My calipers are afflicted as well. With the Sport wheels, I am sure you can see the oxidation quite a bit. Refinishing is the way to go.Randy, is the color of your car Desert Platinum (KX4)? It looks to be the same color as mine. I think you would be the only other member with that color. It was only available in 2004, replacing Golden Sand.Cheers, mark
