Hey all, just a quick question about what parts you guys would recommend. My 07 M35x is needing a left front wheel bearing, and with my dealer discount (I'm a Lexus tech at a local dealer) I can get an OE wheel bearing from Infiniti next door for 180 w tax. I was just curious if there are any others brands that are cheaper and still hold up just as well or should I stay with OE bearing? Just curious because its about time for some new tires all around as well so im trying not to go crazy and spend a ton of money at the moment, but if i have to, it is what it is lol.

Car just rolled 95k miles and I've done all preventative maintenance and mileage based services. I gotta say, I love this car and for the last 26k miles it has not caused me any issues other than the notorious valve cover leaks that i've taken care of.

Thanks guys!

I would personally get OEM if the price is within $10 of after market, but that's just me. Either way, someone else posted about a Timken bearing recently...another option.

Another vote for OEM. Check out infinitipartsdeal. Their pricing is good.

I have a brand new aftermarket one I can send you, just pay shipping. I sold the car and don't need it. [email protected]

I agree. I keep my M 100% OEM (accept for the brakemotive brake / rotor kits which are superior to OEM). I save tons by buying my parts from infinitipartsonline. Generally, the dealer charges almost 2X what I pay for parts.

Sorry guys, just saw your replies! Since my post I went next door and picked up an OEM front left hub/bearing assembly and have installed it. No more annoying humming noise when i turn! @jiggersplat I appreciate your offer and I'm sure I would have hit you up if I would have paid any attention to my own post.. haha

Also, I actually get same pricing from the dealer as infinitipartsdeal so i figured instead of waiting for shipping id just go grab one next door. Again, thank you guys for your input!
