Hey i got a 240sx i think i have a bad wheel bearing problem. But im not sure if its the ball joint off the FLCA as well.
It does not make any sound when i turn left or right at speeds, but when i press it from 12 oclock and 6 o clock of the tire, there is play. i can tilt it abit.

But when i spin the tires it is not wobbly or making any sound.
Could this be bad ball joint or Wheel bearing?

If your wheels are making a noise all the time while driving, it's typically a bad tire. It can be a really bad wheel bearing, but it's typically a tire.

If your wheels aren't making any noise while driving straight, but they do when you turn, that's a sure sign if a wheel bearing. Just listen for which one.

If you're not hearing noise, but notice your car is not driving straight and you see abnormal tire wear, that's in the suspension. Abnormal tire wear would be something like the inside or outside of the tire is wearing down faster than the rest of the tire.

With your car in the air, if you picture your wheel as a clock, place one hand at 3:00 and the other at 9:00. If you can wiggle the wheel, that's a bad tierod. Now there is an inner and outer tierod, so watch to see what's failing. They are so cheap, I'd just replace both. Also, make sure it's the tierod joint that's allowing it to wobble, and not your steering rack just letting the tire move. It should be pretty obvious.

With your car in the air, if you picture your wheel as a clock, place one hand at 12:00 and the other at 6:00. If you can wiggle the wheel, that's a bad ball joint. There is only one ball joint. It's a lower. This also isn't expensive.

With all this said, your lower control arms and links have rubber bushings. Make sure your bushings aren't blown out. That can allow for some issues, though I've never seen a bushing fail in a 240. I'm sure it happens though.

Sounds like you have a bad ball joint. Go to an auto store and buy a new ball joint. I'd do both sides if I were you, but that's just how I do things. I bought a new S13 last year, and right away I got new front ball joints, and inner and outer tierods. I just replaced them all at once. It's an old car and none of those parts are overly expensive. Most auto stores rent tools. You can put a deposit down on a ball joint press and install your ball joint yourself, and then return your tool and get your money back. It's fairly simple. If you search, there are several really good step by step threads showing you how to replace your front or rear ball joint in a S13/S14.

Lastly, whenever you take your suspension apart, go get an alignment.
