hey guys i was wondering the wheel bearing on s14 is it pressed it in or the whole hub assembly? i called most local auto places they all said its just wheel bearing it self they sell. I remeber i printed a diagram out as well i cant remeber the name i think it was from all data and their it said you have to remove the snap ring and press the wheel bearing out.. can anyone please tell me if its pressed in or the whole assembly

thanks

I think the front has a bearing that needs to be pressed off and on the spindle. Check the advance auto site look up the front bearing if it is there then you are in business. I know that the rear is an assembly though.

1) Download factory servise manual 2) loosen front wheel studs3) jack up car, put it in jack stands (not under the "frame rails", front sub frame is good)4) remove front wheel5) remove brake caliper6) remove caliper bracket7) take off brake rotor8) pop cap off of axle9) go to sears, buy the massive socket (34mm??) that is needed to remove the axle nut...should have thought of that earlier, huh.10) loosen axle nut..may need breaker bar plus 12' extension.11) pull of hub...may take some persuasion12) replace with new hub (don't know if bearings can be pressed out)13) tighten axle nut (breaker bar)14) take an old chisel and re-clinch the dents in the nut so it doesn't come off15) reinstall axle cap, rotor, caliper bracket, caliper, wheel, put car back on the ground, tighten lug nuts.16) Go have ice cold beverage of your choice (optional)
