After rotating tires, I think I have a wheel balance problem. I checked the pressure of tires, but my 240SX doesn't go straight unless I firmly hold the steering wheel. It slowly tends to go left. How can I solve this problem? Do I have to go to a mechanic shop? Thanks.

my friend that is not a balance problem. it is either alignment or more likely a tire issue. swap the tires around again. if the pulling follows the tire then its def tire prob.

Thanks, s13sr20chris. I didn't have this problem before rotating tires. Do I have to do tire alignment whenever I rotate tires? What kind of tire problem do you mean?

an alignment should not (in theory) be affected by tire rotation. however, in reality all four tires are not identical and it will be effected. i would just get an alignment once in a while as preventative maintenance. a tire problem could be one tire worn more that the others or of a different type than the others. other probs could be internal failures of different parts of the tire that may not be perceptible to your eye.
