The rogues back space is 5.86 and i ordered rims with a 5.76 backspace. I was going to order spacers to make up for the difference but I was thinking maybe if i got bigger spacers and made the wheels stick out a little bit it might look cool and give the truck a bit of a sportier look. Any ideas on how far out i could go before causing any problems as far as ride, wear and clearance is concerned?

are you talking about off-set & spacing? the larger spacers you use = the more stress on the studs, and the less threading your lugnuts have to grip too. that can cause them to come loose, and your rim to fly off. been there = done that at 17 lol
is that the only way to have the wheel stick out a lil bit? i want to have more a little offroad sporty look... i mean its not that important, it was just an idea. however since the new wheels im getting have .100 less of a backspace i dont want them to appeared to be too far in. But im thinking .100 wont even be noticeable.
ehh i could do that but then i have to buy new tires! lol... i'll prolly just go for the stock look since its a lease and i wont be able to transfer my wheels to my next truck since it will prolly be a chevy or jeep.
I'm still debating if i want to turn the rogue over to my mom in a year and finance a used wrangler unlimited or buy the new colorado. I need to own something 4wd/awd before i get my next sports car. 3 years of leasing then opting to pay off the rogue is a loooong time to wait for my sports car lol

they have not changed much. i wouldnt go near those cars, unless its a free ride you won.
lol do i hear yankee pinstripe wranlger? I'm not a fan of dodge/chrysler as I bleed bowties. But i never hear anything bad about jeep. Infact a tow truck driver once told me that the cars he finds himself picking up the least was jeep and i think subaru...and this guy drove GM. I just wish GM would bring the 2.8 duramax turbo diesel Colorados to the states! =( Such Bullsh!t...
