I have a g35 and running a 18x8.5 wheel. I want to run a wider tire than the 245 I'm currently running. What size wheel in 18 or 19 should I run to run a 295 - 315

Don't know why you want that much tire in the rear, but I'd guess a 10" wide wheel minimum

My suggestion is to look for someone with a set of 350Z Track V2 wheels (18×9 30mm offset / 19×10 30mm offset) just to see how the fitment looks and to check for running g at full wheel lock and under suspension load. The OEM tire sizes for those wheels are 245/40/18 & 265/35/19.
