There is a black 2.5 base with hubbies in the neighborhood across from ours. Other than that I only ever see a handful around here, and they're all 2008-2009. It's rare for me to see a 2010+

I've owned my new coupe for less than a month now but I had to coment. When I was searching for a new car, I wanted something fairly unique, relatively quick, but with increased gas mileage. I TOTALLY did not even consider an Altima because there are so many of them in my neighborhood. I went to look at a Genesis coupe (also considered a Camaro and a BMW 128i) and noticed that the adjacent dealer had an Altima coupe on their lot. Very intrigued. Then after seeing how it could be decked out with all the options I wanted and then the color I wanted I was hooked, despite it being "just an Altima." Anyway what sold me is that you do see so few Altima coupes around, especially a 3.5 SR. I'm loving it more and more every day and can't imagine the others I considered. Even my neighbors with Altimas (all sedans) are surprised that my car is even an Altima.

The Altimas we been seeing in our neighborhood / apartment are ALL coupes.. I'm happy and sad that more AC around the area.. but all the sudden more than 5 pop out and half of them are same color as mine.. that just :wtf2:

Yea, devil, I hear you. Coupe owners tend to be people that enjoy driving something with a little uniqueness. On the bright side, take satisfaction in knowing that you are the one who started a trend.

This. I see a lot more coupes on the road now too. But I know only a small percentage of them are single owner since July 2007 like me...and I consider myself a late bloomer.

EDIT: My god I just realized Ive been driving this car for almost 4 years? Time flies...

i'm thoroughly convinced that since last year when I got my AC, others have followed on purchasing one. Before I got mine, I would only see about 2-3 in my whole town. NOW, i see 1 atleast every 9-10 blocks. towns 3 miles long.

Its spectACular!

I just bought mine a couple weeks ago and to be honest I didn't even know that they existed. I just went to the Nissan dealer to test drive a $17,000 scion Tc and ended up paying 25 for my new altima coupe. I like the car and in my area it seems to be very unique.

I live in Los Angeles. And on my daily commute to and from work I see one maybe two coupes a month and mine is usually the only altered one. 60 mile commute.
I like the fact that so many people check out my car, including an Audi s5 driver and passenger this past Friday. Sweet!

I have to amend my previous statement. I ran to the bank at lunch and in the McDonald's parking lot there was a slate 08/09 like mine (only stock) parked next to a crimson black 2010 (also stock). I was kicking myself for not having cards on me.

I was the only coupe at our local Nissan Meet this past Sunday. After everyone left (good turnout of about 70 cars) and I was helping clean up a black coupe drove by and just kept going. I'm always the lone stranger between the 240's and the cubes. The Zs & Gs stick together in their own little clique.

Altima Coupes are catching on in Jersey I used to be 1/3 10+ coupes seen in my area but now in my town alone I see about 7-8 10+ coupes it was annoying at first but its not so bad, alot of cute chicks give me thumbs up or honk so it can be pretty cool because its considered a young buyers car lol now im on the look out for the coupe its annoying to see old people driving it though becasue they ruin the rep around here

Can you imaging our car getting bough buy people like the new Sonata or Elantra? I see those cars every minute while driving on the road. its not a bad looking car. but if you see one every minute or so, it gets annoy and gets old. i dont ever want my altima coupe to become part of something that is outdated/old
