favorite feature of your R50 truck?

my personal fav is the auto sliding seat that slides back or forth for easy in and out...i find it a practical yet upscale touchor course if you have a qx you got a lot more to say

i like how the key is seperate from the alarm remote, i have mine on a detachable keyring so i can leave the QX4 running with A/C on, lock the doors, and dont have to worry about a thing! And the R50 is nice and chilly when I come back to it.

Must be something different about the 99.5's and up. That is one of my biggest gripes about mine. I can't lock the doors with the doors open and the engine running.

My favorite feature is the auto climate control. In the winter, I don't have to turn off the blower until I think the engine has warmed up. I just get in and drive. The heated seats warm my tushy until the heater kicks in. I just leave it at 72 and forget it.

With the doors open, if you pull the handle back (interior handle or exterior, doesnt matter) and then press the lock button while holding the handle, they will lock. Thats a japanese car thing - they make you use both hands - so you dont accidentally lock yourself out.

Ditto.I also like being able to roll them up (and down) again using my key. No need to get in the truck and turn the ignition, and then having to use the window buttons.Slick.I also like the radio controls in the steering wheel. Didn't think much of this feature when I bought it, but I wouldn't want to be without it now. Those things, plus the fact that this thing is bullet proof.

My fob can roll my windows down, but can't roll them back up. Which I think is insane. Or is it something else besides holding lock for two seconds?

The steering wheel controls, the idiot-proof all-mode 4WD, and an engine bay that's not too hard to do maintenance/repairs in gets my vote. Also, the thing is bombproof and will probably survive well past 300,000km, which is also a plus for me.

Though I've had at least one person think the 4WD control was a radio control, and they reached to turn it as I was cruising 130km/h down the highway. Um, no, I'd like to keep my transfer case, thanks moron. Would've been nice to put that to the left of the steering wheel so only the driver can use it.

Yep.I didn't know about it for the first year I had it though. I felt pretty stupid.Put the key in the drivers' door lock, and then turn and hold it clockwise to lower the windows, and counter-clockwise to raise the windows. This feature works on just about any newer car by the way.Works in my Altima, as well as a friends Lexus and another friends Acura.Try it.

Can't do that on mine, although I do like having the remote independent of the key. My sons' Caravan has the remote as part of the key, and I don't like it.

FYI: I have remote starters on my cars, and this accomplishes basically the same thing as you have. A warm car in the winter, and a cool car in the summer.Mine is set for 15 minutes by the way, and then it auto shuts off.

Didn't work, drat! Thank God I live in Idaho where I can leave my car running in the driveway and it stays there.
