Ive got a question, why does my computer seem to be going slower now then it use to? Can I clean out a certain section or somthing?

You can clean out your registry, but i wouldn't do that.

The best thing i have found is to not have any programs start at launch. (especially the ones in the bottom right corner) to get rid of those you go to start menur>RUn>Type in msconfig>Enter>CLick on the "startup" tab>Uncheck everything that you don't want. (i'd uncheck everything that wasn't antivirus, and wasn't i nthe Windows folder)

Click ok and restart.

Another thing you can to is cut down on your monitor resolution, Don't have a background pic, descrease color (from high color to 256 color)

FInal resort is to back up your files, format your harddrive, and reinstall everything. You will be amazed at the improvement.

Defrag, that'll speed it up quite a bit...

I'm at 56k right now, but we're getting cable internet access and digital cable this Saturday. WOOT! That will complement the new, 46" HDTV we just got nicely...:ylsuper

I have OC48 fiber optics, beyond 100 megabytes per second. Purdue fat pipe. :)
