I ended up getting the Blitz downpipe instead of Greddy or something else. It's all the same. The Blitz is stainless steel though, not all of them are.

heavythrottle stainless, no banging or contact with anything (supposedly this is a problem with certain brands?).

I seem to be the only one rockin' the 5zigen. Perfect fitment, 3" mild steel. If you are planning on running a test pipe anyway I would get the XS. I wish it was out when I got mine.

The XS combines the DP and test pipe into one. That SPL one looks sweet though.

i was going to ask if anyone has a flex pipe in the downpipe, nismo freak answered it. and how bad is not having a flex pipe on the exhaust mani and engine and whatnot, i know it puts mroe stress when the engine twist and whatnot, but how bad is it exactly.

If you have the stock manifold, it doesnt matter at all. Most people run solid exaust piping with no problems.

If you keep scraping the front pipe, you can put alot of stress on the exhaust manifold studs. One of them snapped on my buddies SR. Nismo_Freak, I can't find the SPL pipe. Got a link or specs with price?

BTW - Project Nissan 80mm stainless pipe, pretty darn happy with it but want the flex pipe now...

Nismo_Freak...is that bracket/brace made to bolt to the frame rail vs. the transmission. I thought the bracket that connected to the transmission mount was on the other side for some reason.

You're right about that. Maybe that pic is of another application other than the SR.
