I wonder why you dont see a whole lot of those, its an execellent idea. The sr20 proves to be one of the many great motors along side with the ls1 for rwd swaps. Being lightweight in a well balanced design with power in the right places

The 92 240SX weighs 2790lbs and the 92 Miata weighs 2216lbs. So a 575lb difference, but it's also running a 1.6 not a 2.4L.

Whats wrong with the picture is that it's not in my driveway!

Honestly there is little reasoning to do that swap in the Miatas. They have a very strong engine to begin with that is lightweight, compact, and rev-happy. Kinda less glorified to swap the SR into it when you have a fun motor in it to begin with.

And the Miata is 10 times more spin happy, and 10 times harder to keep on the damn road because it has no weight.

But damn are they quick, and oh so fun to drive.

They are a glorified go-kart... all they need is a little go-fast and you got a motorcycle on 4 wheels.

Theres nothing wrong with that picture. They ditched the crappy stock motor in favor of one that has not so limited potential and actually has a usable powerband.
