Whats wrong with this game??

I cannot believe Im now on my 4th copy of Need for Speed Underground and now this one is messing up.

The first 2 copies I got didnt play at all, it said the disc is dirty or damaged and wouldnt even load up. I call the online tech people at microsoft, cleared my memory, went through their procedures and all that good stuff and he said it wasnt the xbox.

I didnt think it was anyways b/c it plays all my other games fine and all the DVD's a CD's fine. So I take back the game for the 3rd time(each time I took it back to a walmart in a different location btw) and finaly this one played, until about 3 days ago then it just stopped reading it and did just what the last 2 games did before.

So guess what, took it back again and got another. This oned played too, for the first couple of days, first it started freezing up, had to restart it over a couple of times and now its just not loading up at all. But all my other games and disc's play fine?? WTF If my little brother wants to play the stupid game hes taking it back this time, this is BS. Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem?

put 2 pieces of 3m black tape on the top of the disk near the center hole forming like an H that may help

thats what i do with the games that i have trouble loading

put them next to the hole, but dont cover it up, right? Ill try it, but the games still going back, I shouldnt have to do that bullshiz with a new game

PS2 pulls that crap too. I took mine apart an cleaned it inside out. It works fine now.

try this: download the newest firmware updates for your CD reader and download the latest drivers for your vid card. Also, check EA's website for a patch. a lot of times, weird problems can be fixed by that.

i 'borrowed' a copy from my friend, PC version and it works fine with the handy CD key gen and the cracked exe... but the game's graphic engine is kinda unoptomized i think.

i'd share it but i have such horrid upload speeds it would take you forever to get both discs. I just get stuff from my friend when we have LAN parties. network em up, copy stuff and play games, while juggling pizza and soda. Its good times.
