No, we didn't get hacked. As it said at the bottom: "This message is brought to you by PostRelease.
NICOclub is a partner site in the PostRelease network".

Actually, I decided to buy this product (http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4 ... ?locale=en)

That advertisement helped Armor All to sell one more product.

What is "PostRelease"? :gotme
Advertisement Companies are allowed to start threads?
Rather then have big banner adds all over the site they make money by letting Companies start threads to advertise?
Never seen this before and I've been on a lot of threads... Interesting.

I don't think it's spam guys. Just a new way of doing ads.

We've posed the question to NICO admin just to get a clarification.

Keep in mind NICO's primary source of revenue is advertising. Without all the ads and sponsors, we wouldn't be able to pay the bills to keep NICO running.

I get it, just never seen anything like that before. If they do that instead of a bunch of banners it would keep the site a lot cleaner ;)

Update:

No spam. It's an auto-generated ad from our advertising partner: PostRelease

You can just avoid clicking it.

It's simply another method of advertising.

Keep in mind, the monthly operational costs here reach well into the 4-figure range...

HOWEVER, it sounds like you might have something to say about Armor-All, so, start up a new thread and let's hear it! :) I'm sure it'll generate some good discussion.

p.s. Welcome aboard - Good to have some more "notherners" here!

Something to say about Armor All... Nope cant say I have anything to say about it. However I do use their 4 pack of wipes on my bike. Works just just as good as a damp cloth but no need to run in the house for water and a cloth. I have heard that it cracks your dashboard after prolonged use though... I will do some searching then I might start a thread on that. Thanx for the welcome!!!

It's crap. Nothing else. Stupid thread loads LAST after all the other threads. "Oh, hmmm...new reply... *try to click on thread I want, but click on armor-all thread instead because it loads RIGHT as my finger is pressing the mouse button* AAARRRRGGGG!!"
lol...

Easy there, killer.

We're working on that. Technology is a bit of a stretch for someone who'd rather be in the garage than learning how to write code. ;)

I watched the video and will pick up a bottle if I can find it. I have never experienced honey on my rims, but they sure attract the brake dust and dirt. I'm pretty obsessive with my rims because I've seen what brake dust can do if never removed.

Pressure washing the rims and car once a week has always worked great for me. But I need to find something even better at taking off tree sap from the hood.
