We're still working otu some bugs caused by our old server company. When we switched they didnt exactly go out of their way to be helpful.

In the long run this switch will be real good for us.

LOL - There's an understatement.

When we switched, they acted like a jilted lover and slashed our tires, held our dog hostage, and generally acted snot-ty (hyphen for emphasis).

You have to click to search through archives too. If you search recent stuff, it comes up with nothing pretty much. Archive search at least works better.

I have to agree with you on the new search. It downright *sucks*! I get annoyed everytime I'm trying to find something. For any one item I'm searching for, I have to page back and forth at *least* 4-5 times. "Oh, it excluded T3 from my search, that's nice." or "What, no result for *turbo* in the KA-T forum??" Guess i'd better search recent subject, recent body, archived subject, archived body..." arghh...

I'd prefer a default option to search *exactly* what I enter, and spanning all dates. Leave the other options for when I need them.

We encourrage people to search before they post but I can't say I blame them anymore - ZeroForum search is a POS.

::edit:: FWIW, I seem to get email notifications OK now if I chose the option(checkbox) when submitting a post/reply, which I'm greatful for.

Yeah, i hate having to switch around like that between recent/archived content. They should just do us the favor and rewrite the search so that it searches both databases without having to select each one manually. Or at least allow instead of radio(option) buttons, make them check boxes.

I find myself always searching archived content to get more results. But them i'm missing out on any new info.

Yah it stinks, but I'll deal with it for now. I know(err hope) that the admin's are doing their best to get all the posts transferred and kinks worked out. I know how un-smooth IT changes can be, so I'm not worried at the moment. Soon as everything settles I'm sure minor adjustments and tweaks are in order.

Oh and nick-I doubt NICO will return to Vbulletin.
