that makes the headlights go up and down without turning them on, so you can do things like change the bulbs out. does it not work for you?

I guess it does not work! Anybody know a fix for this?

I also just found that my antenna does not go up and down. I can hear the motor running when I shut car off, but antenna stays up????

Pull that button straight out and see if there are any breaks in the wire. Besides that, check your fuses. And for the antenna thing, try turning the radio on, letting the motor spool out, then turn it off and see if you can push the antenna back in. If you can, go into the trunk and unplug the antenna motor, cause it's worthless

Unless you actually listen to the damn radio. At which point it's quite the hassle...

OK, pulled the switch out and wires look fine. Checked fuses, and they were ok. I have constant power to the top blue wire, and switchable power to red next to it, but no worky????

Try turning on the lights on one position (parking) and then try the switch. You can then turn off the lights and the lights should remain up... just a thought... mine don't pop up any more, so I don't remember the correct sequence..

The antenna is broken on most 240s. Unplug it like Loki said, or replace it with a n S2000-style antenna.

So even if I can hear the motor running, it is junk? There is no fix for it? What is S2000 style antenna?

It worked, turned lights on, hit switch, and turned lights off. They stayed up!

Thanks jamesblonde82, I will add that to my "to do " list and I have saved the link to my favorites!

no! they are junk! I replaced my broken mast with a lot of trouble and the damn thing started acting up again a couple months down the road! XM, CDs or iPod FM Transmitters are the only way to go

Quote »It worked, turned lights on, hit switch, and turned lights off. They stayed up! [/quote]Sounds like your car is in Sleepy-Eyes mode by accident. Also sounds like the continuity of your brown wire is in question. Be one of the cool kids and do part two of this video (not the cutting of wires part)!http://youtube.com/watch?v=PcaLnkI5UmE
