whats this squealing noise my engine is making?

ok so i started my car today and i think i got my idle fixed (u need to hook up the egr line after all) and it started making this squeal

well i pulled off the belts and its not the alternator psteering pump or water pump.. so its gonna be in the front cover somewehre then, time to pull it off again

yah i am hehe, and no belts are on.. the squeal is much more metallic lol

Is it comming from the top or bottom of the motor, it is hard to tell from the video. what was the last thing that happend before it stated making this noise, or did it just start? Will it run or not?

engine runs.. last thing i did was hook up the egr line to the intake, though the day before i did forcefully take the car around the block when it still didnt idle fine and had this rattle above 1700 rpm's... so i dono something coulda gotten stuck after taht lol

Sounds like you broke a valve spring or something. Do a compression test and let us know.

when i crank it without starting engine it sounds fine.. shoudltn the spring be havin a problem? i just checked compression like 3 days ago (b4 it made the noise tho) and it was 180 across the board
