like i said, i have this line hooked up from my intake pipe to where it connects at that point. is it the pcv line? whatever it is, it gets so hot that i see smoke coming off it after i drive. im thinkin its cause i dont have the heat shield over my exhaust manifold. Also, today is the first time i drove it! i got it towed to my local shop and got the slave replaced as well as the slave resivoir, i couldn't figure out why i couldn't bleed my clutch lol. but the thing is, when i disengage the clutch (push down on the pedal) i can hear what seems to be my clutch still rubbing on the flywheel. is my clutch going bad, or is my clutch just not fully bled? cause it doesn't disengage or engage until its just off the floor. theres no slack inbetween the floor and where it engages/disengages.

Its for the oil catch can, which should be on the right, looking at that picture, the loose hose is like the breather line. You can just get one of those 5$ autozone breathers and put it in its place.

there was a recent thread about the valve cover T

zerothread/278685

the short answer was: do not use one of those little breather filters

1: if you have the heatshield it wouldn't hurt to put it back on

2: sounds like the throw out bearing

I HIGHLY doubt its the throw out bearing, and incase you dunno where thats at seanman, its inside the transmission, I don't understand how that would cause the symptoms you've described.

Your right I thought he said it made the noise while the clutch was engaged.

Seanman try bleeding the crap out of it its the same as doing brakes just keep an eye on the fluid level. Also it could still be the t/o bearing if its an aftermarket clutch requiring a thicker than stock bearing but like duff said I highly doubt it

na im pretty sure its a stock clutch. awesome ill bleed it like a vampire tomorrow.. could that be why it feels like my i have 50 horsepower when im going? my engine revs fine, but no matter how far down i push the pedal (which im not really pushin it that far) it just kinda boggs and i feel like my clutch might be slipping? but i also think its just my fuel pressure. i have a walbro 255, and i just ordered a pressure regulator so that should be coming soon. does that sound like fuel pressure??

Sounds like a boost leak, check that all your clamps are tight and intercooler pipes are seated correctly. Also you may have trouble bleeding your clutch if you still have the stock dampner hooked up. Incase you dont no what that is, it is a box mounted on your frame rail. follow the line from your slave cylinder to it, disconnect it and hook the slave cylinder up straight to the master cylinder.
