its a bigger gray connector with 8 pins, 2 pins have 12v with Ket on engine off, another 2 have about 6v. it looks like it branches off around the maf connector. the wires were cut off on the other side of the connector so im just trying to figure out what it does thanks]

If this is for an RB25 (which it looks like it is), that is the plug where the grey injector power wire needs 12V power. Cut it there, strip it out of the harness, solder an inline fuse, and attach it to 12V power.

The "connector that stationary right in front of the intake manifold next to fpr" is called something to the effect of "injector harness connector". The gray wire is the 12V power wire and the other wires are the ground for each individual injector to the ECU. The gray wire in the injector harness must already be connected through the plug you took a picture of because it wouldn't start if it wasn't. You can try disconnecting it and see if it fires up. It probably won't. The reason most people have to rewire the grey wire on the injector harness plug is because the other half of the connector pictured above is typically not in tact when a motorset is purchased. The other half of the connector is part of the chassis harness, not the engine harness.

Either way will work. I don't see why you would change it if it is working properly now unless you didn't like the look of it or something like that.
