Whats this, and why is it not hooked up lol

Was tinkering today, with my VTC sensors. And noticed an unhooked vacuum looking line.



Has a fairly long hose on it, connects to the right back side of the green connector, doesnt pull any vacuum when the motor is running, what is it for?



I have a feeling it was plugged into my airbox, which I removed....

I would get your stock intake and check out where every hose was connected to, and also where is the rest of that hose being connected too? It has a t, so if your car is running fine, honestly I wouldnt bother with it too much.

Dont have the stock intake anymore

The "rest" of the hose is hooked up to nothing, It comes off a source on the right side of that green plug, then its just 18ish inches or tubing leading to nothing lol

Only thing I can assume is its just something for that sensor. I wouldnt bother with it, as its one of those things where you find a screw and your wondering where it goes, but its really not important. Did you paint your engine cover??

Ya, paint was chipping, so I pulled as many removeable pieces and brackets as I could and gave them a new coat of paint. Youd be surprised how 2 cans of brake cleaner and 2 cans of spray paint can really make youre car look fresh again

I have a huge question, my car is coming in black and I got the black headlights already. I want to paint the chrome surrounding on the grill, any idea on how to do this???
