whats this, accel wire??

when i bought my accel wires for my 240, it came with the 4 plug wires and another wire that is different from the other 4. wtf is it? i looked all over for a place where it could go but cant find any. i figured it may just be like a universal kit and that extra wire is used on other cars, any idea's?

The wire that goes from the distributor cap to the coil.

Dan you’re coil is inside the distributor you dont need it.

TheY came with a coil wire? That goes to show you the quality of accel... Get yourself some NGK wires!

Those wires are for the 92-98 240sx. The older 240's had an external coil. I use Accel and they are the shiot! What color did you get Daniel?

I'm sure they did. New wires are always good for an engine.

However I suggest some better wires, seriously.. Especially with the mods you have done to your car, the extra spark would be worth it. :oface

Extra spark how? The TS accel wires cary a very low resistance as is... I dont see MSD ignition on his list of mods so he'll get the same spark with either wire. I have about the same with a slight bit more done and Im running the accel wires with no problems...

But Im running the red ones because they "produce" the most power muhahahaha
