(Long & probably not worth the read)
Was riding with my friend when he was "grab-a$$ing" in his late 80's S10 Blazer, funny enough he was trying to get the back end to step out .. isn't that kinda drifting isn't it, anyway, it gets sideways on a dirt/gravel road and he over-corrects (amature). The next thing you know we're sliding nose first (at a VERY high rate of speed) into the solid, dirt, cliff like embankment that is the side of the road. We make impact nose first and the truck flips in a barrel roll, end swapping manner and comes to a rest, on the passanger side nearly 300 yards from the dent it made in the embankment. There we are, truck still running, hanging side ways in the seats (thanks seatbelts). I turn and to the right of me as a window of dirt. To the left of me was my fiend starting to spaz. Calmly, I say "Frank, shut off the motor". He replies, in a very excited, nearly hysterical voice "It won't shut off!!". I say "Put it in park first". He does, then the next thing I hear is the nasty flywheel grinding sound. Yep, he tried to start it instead of turning it off. Once he gets it turned off, I suggest we climb out ... his side. He tries to open the door only for it to nearly take his hand off as it slams back at him. I had to briefly explain gravity to him. Now I suggest he roll down the window. He replies in the same if not moreso excited/hysterical voice "The window won't go down, how are we gonna get out?!?!" I ask him to turn the ignition on so the power windows will operate. Once we get passed the super tricky/complicated window door thing, he starts to climb out the window and proceedes to step all over me.
After we gte out, I finally convice him that we can roll it back over on to all 4 and drive it home. We got it rolled over, only to find the tires flat . After the police report, we stayed at a camp site with some friends and got a local farmer to air up the tires the next morning and drove it home the next day, with him looking out the drivers side window, cause the car was going sideways.
Ultimately, I injured my back during the lifting to roll the truck back over.
