I was T-boned in the passenger door by an arrogant 16 yr old street racer in his dad's chrysler who ran a red light at a very high rate of speed. I had no idea there was a race coming at us. Took firemen/EMT's about a half hour to pry out my date from the passenger seat, who then had the honor of spending the next few months in a hospital and a few years of phys therapy. I escaped with 75 stitches. my car was pretty much f.u.b.a.r. The kid tried to flee the scene, but witnesses prevented him til the cops arrived. True story

(Long & probably not worth the read)

Was riding with my friend when he was "grab-a$$ing" in his late 80's S10 Blazer, funny enough he was trying to get the back end to step out .. isn't that kinda drifting isn't it, anyway, it gets sideways on a dirt/gravel road and he over-corrects (amature). The next thing you know we're sliding nose first (at a VERY high rate of speed) into the solid, dirt, cliff like embankment that is the side of the road. We make impact nose first and the truck flips in a barrel roll, end swapping manner and comes to a rest, on the passanger side nearly 300 yards from the dent it made in the embankment. There we are, truck still running, hanging side ways in the seats (thanks seatbelts). I turn and to the right of me as a window of dirt. To the left of me was my fiend starting to spaz. Calmly, I say "Frank, shut off the motor". He replies, in a very excited, nearly hysterical voice "It won't shut off!!". I say "Put it in park first". He does, then the next thing I hear is the nasty flywheel grinding sound. Yep, he tried to start it instead of turning it off. Once he gets it turned off, I suggest we climb out ... his side. He tries to open the door only for it to nearly take his hand off as it slams back at him. I had to briefly explain gravity to him. Now I suggest he roll down the window. He replies in the same if not moreso excited/hysterical voice "The window won't go down, how are we gonna get out?!?!" I ask him to turn the ignition on so the power windows will operate. Once we get passed the super tricky/complicated window door thing, he starts to climb out the window and proceedes to step all over me.

After we gte out, I finally convice him that we can roll it back over on to all 4 and drive it home. We got it rolled over, only to find the tires flat . After the police report, we stayed at a camp site with some friends and got a local farmer to air up the tires the next morning and drove it home the next day, with him looking out the drivers side window, cause the car was going sideways.

Ultimately, I injured my back during the lifting to roll the truck back over.

Knock on wood but my worst and only wreck happened about a week after I bought my 91 CRX Si. I was on Outer Loop at the hill where the pool is. I looked back to fix my amp and wam...All I hear is squeeling tires and me taking a face plant on my steering whell. I sat in my car for a minute got out and saw I was in the middle of a 6 car pile up.

Luck has it the guy that plowed all of us was drunk and had to pay for everyones cars. I got wheels, ground effects, hydros and some engine stuff out of it. But that whiplash sucked.

I think your all's beats that though..lol

The worst accident I was ever in was when I was about 9 or 10 in my dads S10. We were t-boned by a UPS truck. UPS truck didn't stop at a stop sign because he couldn't see it because a school bus was illegally parked blocking the stop sign. To this day I still have a scare on my face from the stitches and back problems. The impact was one the passengerside door where I was sitting. It ended up breaking the seat belt and I was ejected from the S10. The witnesses said it flipped a few times. I don't remember anything before that day and a few weeks after the accident.

My friend had just gotten his license (he was 18 I think...he got it late...another long story there in itself) and we were riding in his Rav4. He were turning left at an intersection with traffic lights, but no protected left turn. Mike, (my friend) being a brand new, ultra paranoid driver, was being extra cautious. The car behind us got impatient and honked. Mike was startled and hit the gas. I saw the car coming (I was in the passenger seat) and started to say "sh@t," but then my head was hurting and we were facing the other direction. The car came to a rest against a lamp post. The driver of the other car was a girl with a broken arm (broken BEFORE the crash--she was driving with a cast and sling on. Later, we found out she worked with another of our friends...and a whole lot of creepy coincidences began to appear, but that's not the point here). Her boyfriend tried to start something, but then he realized who he would be starting stuff with. Mike weighed somewhere around 250 lbs I think...most of it muscle. This kid was about 6'4" and...let's just say he had a physical presence...a very prominent one. I'm not big...in fact i'm skinny as hell, but when I'm pissed I'm rather intimidating. The other guy with us was about 180 lb and very disciplined in karate and a couple other defensive arts. The car was completely totalled, which probably would not have happened but the car was AWD, and the airbags deployed. This whole thing would have been avoided if the f@#ktard behind us had just had some damn patience.

Car accident, I T boned a guy at a light. No one hurt.

On a motorcycle, I T boned a Cadilac when the old broad turned in front of me, in my lane, and I hit her at about 50 miles an hour, and flew over her car to interface with the pavement.

Boy that one hurt pretty good. Little road rash, fractured my thumb, dislocated shoulder and broke part of the bone in the rotator cup. Not to mention screwed up my knees a bit, nothing too bad, but they hurt. And bruised from my hair to my feet. Half of my face was purple, from where my helmet rubbed when I landed (on my head) on the pavement.

But no really bad wrecks.

full countersteer at about 40MPH, blew both front tires. Rim dug in car crashed head-on into a guardrail, swung aroud and smashed the rear end and then into the woods. I suffered no damage but the car was done. I still managed to drive it home though with two blown front tires If you check the February 97 Turbo magazine, flip to the letters page and there is a picture of the car. And yes that is yours truly with the stoopid haircut next to the Kakimoto GT-R

I fell asleep and side sweeped a tree. Luckily I didn't hit the thing head on, would not have been good. I walked away with no injuries, just an oh fuc* look on my face.

hmm... worst accident... I've only had two, and both could be considered bad.

#1- Drove an expedition into a front end loader at aprox. 50 mph. Not a retard, the cruise control cable stuck. This did the most medical damage, although it wasn't too bad, just had cartlidge seperation in the middle of my ribcage from the airbag.

#2- Friend driving his 1.8t chipped jetta with a few other mods tried to drift an s-curve in the rain with ASR turned off (traction control). I don't know what drivetrain setup he thought he had, but it was definately FWD, so it did not work. Hit a curb sideways, flew up into the air, bounced off of a telephone pole, and rolled about 7 times, ending up upside down. Seatbelts held us firmly down to the seats although we were inverted, had to crawl to the back and go out the back doors cause the a-pillars were crushed down. Both of us were uninjured, mostly thanks to the side impact airbags. In the end, both of us agreed that it was actually pretty damn fun.

The two accidents I were in were not bad. One I was driving my Ranger following a friend in his Ranger while he was hauling *** on a dry dusty dirt road caused alot of dust particles to float so I couldn't see **** so I slowed down to about 35 when a women in a car pulled out into my side of the dirt road I swerved to miss and missed her car twice by about 1" to 1.5" upon doing this I hit so soft sand and some little bumps causing me to slide sideways (before I had any experience with drifting LOL) and losing control and sliding into a fence. There was no damage to the fences but there was about $3500 damage to my ranger. The women in the car also didn't stop to see if I was ok talking about being pissed.

And the other wreck was I was riding with my sister to the store when a car ran a red light swipping the front of the car removing the front bumber and headlights and then the car that ran redlight went head on to another car. And the reason that she gave for running the redlight was that here child had cut about the 1/2 an inch on its side and was holding the child in the front seat so you can imagine when that car went head on with another car the child hit the windshield but it also caused about $3500 to $5000 of damage to my sisters 04 Cavalier.

[QUOTE=crzycav86]Did you guys sue his *** bare? I sure hope so...

We both ended up settling out of court. The dope's father hired a lawyer to contest every charge the cops cited in order to dodge lawsuits. Not a real bright move considering the big number of witnesses, several of whom blocked him from fleeing the scene. All of those nice folks showed up at court. All charges stuck. Next day, the lawyer called me to discuss settlement. Neither of us went for the brass ring. I got a new car and my medical bills paid. My gf got all her medical/rehab bills paid, plus reimbursed for educational costs lost because she was laid up in the hospital for months. What disappointed me was that there was no apology, no remorse, no nothing from this kid or his pop, just dirty looks and snears. Only ever talked to their lawyer who was not particularly nice. Oh well.

Needless to say, I have no sympathy for street racers.

My worse wreck happened when I was 5 or 6. My mom was driving our VW vanagon, I was riding shotgun, and my sisters where in the back seat. Some guy pulled out from a side street in front of us and my mom skidded into him. I had my seatbelt on, but I always put the shoulder belt behind my head cause it used to go right across my face. Since I only had a lap belt on, my face hit the dash and I broke my nose right above my lip. I remember bleeding all over my white dress shirt. After visiting a plastic surgeon, I was good as new. Except I starting getting nose bleeds after that.

For the record, those are tires marks on the side of my car. And the scrape/gash in the window and A-pillar is the trailer's rear 'bumper'.This is the worse looking wreck Ive been in. It happened in a construction zone on a 3 lane highway. A 18wheeler went from the right lane to left lane just as I was passing him. With a concrete wall to my left and a truck coming from the right, I chose to take on the truck instead of the wall. I managed to slam on my brakes hard enough to avoid getting pinned between the truck and wall. I grazed the wall enough to shread the lip of the front wheel off.And the truck driver kept going...

Okay on October 24th, 2004, my sisters bf, my friend, and i went driving, we all went in his car and he was driving, we went to drop my friend off and he decides to go about 80 in a 25, and well he decided to try to powerslide a sharp turn, and he never braked, and we hit the tree at about 65 mph, the airbags blew off, the car was totaled, i fractured my collar bone, had a bunch of cuts on my face from the airbag, i had a concussion and i permanently damaged the retina of my right eye, my right eye is blurry for the rest of my life, which is a pretty long time cuz im only 16, so yeah the whole day sucked. Then the hospital told me that if i wasnt wearing my belt i would of died.

NOT FUN!

Circa June 1992.

Two weeks after getting my license, I am driving down a side street from the main drag through my booming metropolis of a hometown. I approach a traffic signal that is red. As I get to within 45ft of it, it turns green, so I start to accelerate to go through the intersection. Upon entering the intersection, I look to my left just in time to see a faded blue 1st gen Pulsar slam into the driver side of my Caprice. Luckily, I had enough time to turn my body to the right and cover my face from the glass that had gone flying by my head. As I pull off to the side of the road, right in front of my barber's shop, I notice that I am just down the street from the local PD.They show up and take statements. The other drivers statement is something like this.

I had a yellow light, and was trying to get through it.

My statement went like I explained earlier, but the good part is, when I saw the car, there was no driver. She had bent down to pick up her lipstick...yes, lipstick.

So, her claim, she had a yellow, which means, that I had run a red. Nope...I had a green, she ran a red.

Her insurance company wouldn't claim 100% of the damages, till my mother recieved a phone call from an insurance adjuster that had been walking down the street and witnessed the whole thing. Two days later, had my car in the shop getting fixed, all my medical and chiropractic bills payed, and also a rental car for two weeks.

Did a "360 kickflip (thanks to my friend Pcash for the description)" in my 91 Accord.

Looked like a convertible, everybody who saw the car thought the driver was dead, but noooo still here. Somebody up there must like me.
