whats the widest tire i can put on 18x9.5 on 96 s14

I just bought a set of sportmax 502 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. I was just wondering whats the widest tire i can fit in the back with out rubbing, and also the front. the offset on the rims is +35 please help me out. I heard that 245/40r18's will fit in the front and 265/35r18 will fit in the back. I've been searching for the past five days and have found out nothing solid. Thanks if you can help me

those sizes sound about right.

S14's can fit crazy tire sizes. These should be a cake walk.

You could probably even go as wide as a 285 on the rear there. It would be a bit bubbled probably, but definitely achieve the meaty look.

i just ordered the 265/35 and the 245/40 bf goodrich kdw's. Do you think ill have to roll my fenders or anything? If i do how is it done? Im still new to this 240 scene.

i don't think you'll have to, but if you do, just get a little 3 lbs hammer or something from home depot and hammer the inner lips of the fender flat. the end.
