My motor's in the shop for a rebuild right now, about to have the deck milled and possibly the head shaved and i need to buy a headgasket. I'm sure the most the shop will be able to tell me is how much will be taken off and therefore how much height should be added to the size of the stock gasket.

Also, where is a good place to locate a metal headgasket these days?

I believe its 1.2mm. boost_boy seems to be able to find NISMO metal head gaskets, and SPL Parts (one of our sponsors) should be able to source you a Tomei one.

1mm and you can get a Tomei from SPL but they will have to order them from Japan (Last time I checked at least).
