Probably really stupid question but what is the benefit of an SE...Do they have limited slip diffs or is it just mainly interior stuff,.

I get confused if theSE is the base model or if its the one with power windows and locks and whatnot. But either way it does not have an LSD. The only 240 that comes with LSD is the Super-Hicus models I believe.

.. Ehh... are you sure? I'm almost positive SE's do not have ABS, LSD or Super Hicas. They're all-wheel disk brakes though.

Maybe my ABS just doesn't work--heh. Oh well, prefer it not to anyway.

There are 2 differnet part numbers listed for s13 front saw bar. One is listed as "'heavy duty" I believe. Not sure if it was an option or standard on one of the models. Never looked into it, just like the optional 205/60 rear tires listed in the owners manual.

My SE has power windows, locks, mirror, spoiler, tilt steering wheel, and a sunroof.

it depends on the year. on the 1989s, SE are all hatch, regular models are coupes.

The SE stands for "Sport Edition" or something, its got like someone else already said, the power windows and locks and such, but its also got a sport suspension, bigger tires, mostly just upgraded suspension.

lots of misinformation, check the link.

examples HICAS never came on a coupe, and the sport suspension was part of the HICAS package, SE and Base had the same setup and brakes.
