Wow horrible pun I know. Anywho. Curious about the differences, pros and cons of a viscous fluid diff like the R200V ~VS~ a clutch disk diff like the original R200? I have a 92 240sx, it sadly has a open diff. not much fun.

a better question would be what do you plan to do with the car? drifting? daily driving? drag? auto x? its better to know what you plan on using the car so then you can find a lsd that fits your needs

a viscous diff uses basically thick fluid to slow down the differential action in the diff, but it only works effectively when the diff is warmed up cuz the fluid gets thicker in viscousity...

your 1.5 and 2 way lsd used a series of clutches and disks to make it harder for the two tires to spin a different rates, which also limits differential action...

remember, the purpose of a lsd is to put as much power evenly to the tires as possible...

the only real posi traction is a welded diff
