they will bolt directly to your stock manifold or a stainless tubular ( Tomei, Trust, Ichiba, Megan, Megan-knock off) as long it is a T2 Manifold But you will need to take air fuel into consideration. Bigger turbo means bigger injectors and air meter (to compensate for fuel) and tune.IE: the reason why people upgrade the MAFS and Injectors when they go with a bigger turbo.

The difference: Some SR20 Applications came out of the factory with a ball bearing T28, (S14s and S15 motors) gt2860rs <-- never really read up on this turbo; Id do some research. but I know the GT2871R (disco potato) is good for up to 400hp while the s15 turbo is good to about 300hp and will bolt directly to the stock turbo manifold but will need new compressor inlet pipe and output pipe

Im personally fond of the 2871R the response is as a T25 but will pull you SO much more on even on a low pressure.

as far as determining if you have a T25 or not, 1: check to determine that you have an S13 motor or an S14 motor.2. Check the compressor A/R housing and see what it says(edit: just to let you know .60 A/R is a T28 and .80 A/R for a T25)good luck man -Sean

Gotta revive this thread for anyone refering to it.

4wheeldrifts13 says the gt2871r is a disco potato, this is not true. Its the gt2860rs thats the disco potato and its good to 320-350 whp.
