the manual ECU has a speed limiter while the auto ECU limiter is on the thransmission itself

the fuel and ignition maps are also more aggressive on the manual ECU

you can use the auto ECU if you need to, i am and have Nistune currently installed in said auto ECU and have a manual tune without the speed limiter

ok thats what I wanted to know.so after a manual swap is it worth it to swap the ecu too? for the better fuel map?

if all that your going to do is swap it to manual, then yes.....if you plan on modifying your powertrain further, decide on which type of engine management your going to use and a manual ECU may be a small waste of money because nearly all aftermarket Engine Management systems will allow you to change your fuel and timing maps to maximise performance
