So i've heard a few places now are getting skylines that aren't all put together then assembling them here and selling them as "kit cars" is that legal? and is it legit? or is it a scam that allows them to get money and the person never gets the car?

here is 1 site i found that sounds like they do this

http://www.sky-kit.com/6.html

So is this Legal?

Not to mention the fact that the Skyline doesn't fit the DOT definition of a kit-car, since it's a mass-production vehicle.

The way I understand it, DOT is starting to tighten down on that pretty hard lately.

But see there is no kit skyline on this site and I read about that whole raffle thing. Personaly its sounds like a crock of **** and the pictures they have I have seen on like 30 diffrent sites, so I wouldn't believe them unless you go and look at the cars. Skyline kit cars are not legal, same thing as ripping them apart and shipping them over.
