Ok, so I got an sr20det swapped motor 240sx, powersteering belt was chewed up and popped off...no problem right swap it out. Ok so after five trips to the pep boys I finally found the right belt (don't ask long story)

It is perfect and has been working for a long time now with no wear.

labeled check belt tensioner, DRIVE RITE automotive v-ribbed belt5040345DR some other numbers on the package 4PK0875

ok so that one no problem...then the alternator/waterpump/crank belt popped off two days ago...two trips to autozone and I have a belt that seems to be working but is chewing up a little on the edges. Its a six rib, 37 inch belt.I lost the packaging so I can't remember exactly what it was. Total cost for both belts, 20 dollars...they are like 11 bucks. F*** that gates belt crap and all the parts dealers blanking out the numbers on pictures of 20 dollar jdm belts.

If anyone knows of the proper belt to wrap around the alternator/waterpump/crank pulleys let me know its stressful being stranded in the ghetto without internet or a way to get the right kinda belt.

hope this helps anyone trying to search for a cheaper more reasonable fix for a busted belt than ordering a mystery belt online from one of these tuner sites. I swear theres a big sr20det belt conspiracy, or I could be a nut.

peace

Im pretty sure, you could of found that part number in the SR FAQ's sticky right here in this very subforum.... Good to know though, and a search will now probably yield someone else a faster answer thx to you.

So not a complete fail.
