What will I be looking at if I wanted to do a CA swap my self but with all the goodies along with it? Less than 3,000? I notice doing an SR swap with all the goodies is gonna run me cost to 5,000. Thanks.

What are all the goodies? It'll cost about the same amount as an SR. If I could do it again, I might have gone with a low mileage s14 sr20. Reasons: It comes with a t28, .2 liters more displacement, more aftermarket support, known to support more power stock, less mileage means less money in maintenance parts, timing chain saves $50.

The ca isn't cheap, but it has been lots of fun to work on.

Would it cost me the same as a redtop s13 motor for a CA with the goodies as in new clutch, spark plugs, and so on. Thanks. Could some of you CA swapper post what you spent on the complete swap? Thanks.

With the SR, you won't have to buy the timing belt and I would leave the gaskets and seals alone. You can use the stock o2 pipe, I'd keep the stock head gasket, and the stock turbo is good for about 40 whp more than the ca's.
