whats the comprssion of a 240sx S13?

Hey im wondering wats the compression of a 240sx S13 and a S14. Are they the same? I heard that the chiltons is wrong. I also checked the serch forum thingy and it didnt say anything about the S14 unless i wasnt looking harder enough. I know that the the S13 is 9.5:1 i believe n a ka24de, but is it all the same?

Are you wanting to know compression ratio or compression pressure. You are correct on the ration for an s-13 DOHC. The compression pressure should be 179psi 151psi min. and no more the 14psi differential between cylinders.

Those specs are good all the way from 91 to 98 s-13 and s -14. Dont have a SOHC manaul available to spec out.
